A few straight answers
Open to people. Across parties.
Do I need to leave my political party?
No. Democrats, Republicans, independents and people with no party can all take part. Backing an issue doesn’t mean agreeing on everything else.
Is Unparty a political party?
No. Unparty doesn’t run candidates or ask for your vote. It’s a place to organize support around issues.
Who decides which candidates receive money?
You do, under rules shown before you pledge. Only candidates who publicly sign an issue’s position can receive its contributions. Our AI surfaces evidence about where politicians stand, but appearing on an issue doesn’t make anyone eligible for money.
How does pooling work?
Contributions on an issue are pooled until they add up to support large enough to make a real difference to a campaign. The full rules, including the minimum and what happens if an issue falls short, will be shown before anyone pledges.
How will I know where my contribution goes?
Before you pledge, you’ll see recipients, allocation rules, fees and timing. Your history will show what you pledged, what was charged and what was sent to each campaign.
What does Unparty’s AI track?
Bill text and amendments, committee and subcommittee actions, recorded votes and politicians’ public statements. Every finding links to its source. Where records are missing or unclear, the page says so.
What if a finding is wrong or disputed?
Candidates can respond, and there’s a correction process. A person reviews any disputed finding before it has consequences.
